2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Submit a manuscript — name, email address, manuscript file (PDF/DOCX)
• Register as an author — full name, email address, phone number, institution name
• Contact us — name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message

We do not collect payment card details directly. Any payment transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process and manage your manuscript submission
• To communicate your submission status, review decisions, and publication updates
• To respond to your enquiries and provide editorial support
• To issue your DOI assignment and Publication Certificate
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law

We will not use your information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

• Journal editors and peer reviewers — your manuscript details (never your contact details) are shared for the review process
• CrossRef / DOI registrar — author name and paper metadata are submitted for DOI registration upon acceptance
• Legal authorities — if required by court order or applicable Indian law

5. Data Retention

We retain your submission data for a minimum of 3 years after your manuscript is processed (whether accepted or rejected), in line with standard academic publishing practices. Contact information is retained for the same period for correspondence records. You may request earlier deletion (see Section 7).

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with our grievance officer

8. Cookies

IndexedPub does not currently use tracking cookies or analytics on this website. If we introduce analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent notice will be displayed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
